MY FATHER’S ADVICE TO ME WHEN I WAS SEARCHING FOR A WIFE…

By Jerry John Rawlings The Former Ghana President.

My son, I will be very raw and sincere with you. Do not worry about the size of a woman buttock or breast but worry about the size of her heart and brain. Worry about the size of her love and endurance. Because after 5 or 10 years, it will not be about the breast or buttock.

As you can see, your mum now has a flat chest and almost flat buttock but we still live together happily, I still love her and she still love me. Be careful of a woman that loves money. I mean the woman that talks ‘every time’ about her hair, cloths, shoes, bags panties and make-ups.

Marriage is not all about these things. Without make-up, cloths, shoes and panties a good marriage will still stand but without love, no marriage can stand. When I got married to your mum, I didn’t have a car or house of my own. I was not even educated. But I had dreams and she appreciate and support me.

Any woman that does not support your dream is not worth thinking-a minute about. There are women that will see your dreams better than you, you are lucky if you find one, My son, open your ears very well, there is a kind of woman you should avoid, do not make a mistake to marry this kind of woman or you will regret it. I mean a woman that always has bad things to say about everyone. If you see this kind of woman, run away.

One of the worst kind of woman you can marry is the one that complains about everything. If you buy this, she says you should have bought that, ifyou do this, she said you should have done that. Please stay away! Most women enjoy talking but the one who talks for two hours and listen for two minutes is a potential ‘bomb’. Be wise Be very careful of a pretending partner.

pretending woman is not hard to know. She will always know everything about everything, she will be careful. Just close your eyes and open your heart and you will see!

No woman is perfect. If you see a woman who believes in your dream , who respects you who is committed and who is not all about herself alone then don’t let her go.

But remember, you must not be a wayward man.I have trained you! If you find a good woman but you are a bad man, you wont have a good marriage!

I won’t pick a wife for you but I have given you my advice. When you find her, bring her for my blessings.May you find a woman that will increase you not decrease you..

Message to single men.

Dear Single men,

Nowadays getting a quality woman to marry is very difficult. Especially ladies who are responsible, not materialistic, and faithful. Noble wife materials are as scarce as rare Gold. Getting a lady who will hold on to you through thick and thin is nearly impossible, a lady who will still find you useful and respect you when you hit financial rock bottom.
Getting a lady worth being called a wife is like going up a smooth mountain with no climbing gear; most ladies nowadays are materialistic, spoilt, wasted and when she comes to your life she brings a lot of past baggage enough to kill you with stress.

The search for nice ladies is even made worse by wicked men on the loose with sweet sugar coated lies and a show of superficial material live which seriously blinds most ladies thus frustrating the search.

Men, if you get a woman who can make a good wife, hold in to her dearly. The competition for such ladies is so high since worse most ladies after being blinded by superficial false love are now frustrated and thus so difficult to settle with them. Feminism does not make it even easier after being overtaken by frustrated ladies out to settle scores with men, making all men seem like villains even the victims!

IF you get a nice lady who can make a good wife, whether she is single or a single mother; hold on to her.

Ducks Quack, Eagles Soar

Happy Weekend

*Ducks Quack, Eagles Soar*
I was waiting in line for a ride at the airport in Pakistan. When a cab pulled up, the first thing I noticed was that the taxi was polished to a bright shine. Smartly dressed in a white shirt, black tie, and freshly pressed black slacks, the cab driver jumped out and rounded the car to open the back passenger door for me.
He handed me a laminated card and said: ‘I’m Abdul, your driver. While I’m loading your bags in the trunk I’d like you to read my mission statement.’
Taken aback, I read the card. It said: Abdul’s Mission Statement:
To get my customers to their destination in the quickest, safest and cheapest way possible in a friendly environment.

This blew me away. Especially when I noticed that the inside of the cab matched the outside. Spotlessly clean!
As he slid behind the wheel, Abdul said, ‘Would you like a cup of coffee? I have a thermos of regular and one of decaf.’
I said jokingly, ‘No, I’d prefer a soft drink.’
Abdul smiled and said, ‘No problem. I have a cooler up front with regular and Diet Coke, lassi, water and orange juice.’
Almost stuttering, I said, ‘I’ll take a Lassi.’
Handing me my drink, Abdul said, ‘If you’d like something to read, I have The NST , Star and Sun Today.’
As they were pulling away, Abdul handed me another laminated card, ‘These are the stations I get and the music they play, if you’d like to listen to the radio.’
And as if that weren’t enough, Abdul told me that he had the air conditioning on and asked if the temperature was comfortable for me.
Then he advised me of the best route to my destination for that time of day. He also let me know that he’d be happy to chat and tell me about some of the sights or, if I preferred, to leave me with my own thoughts.
‘Tell me, Abdul ,’ I was amazed and asked him, ‘have you always served customers like this?’
Abdul smiled into the rear view mirror. “No, not always. In fact, it’s only been in the last two years. My first five years driving, I spent most of my time complaining like all the rest of the cabbies do. Then I heard about POWER OF CHOICE one day.”
Power of choice is that you can be a duck or an eagle.
‘If you get up in the morning expecting to have a bad day, you’ll rarely disappoint yourself. Stop complaining!’
‘Don’t be a duck. Be an eagle. Ducks quack and complain. Eagles soar above the crowd.’
‘That hit me. really hard’ said Abdul.
‘It is about me. I was always quacking and complaining, so I decided to change my attitude and become an eagle. I looked around at the other cabs and their drivers. The cabs were dirty, the drivers were unfriendly, and the customers were unhappy. So I decided to make some changes, slowly … a few at a time. When my customers responded well, I did more.’
‘I take it that it has paid off for you,’ I said.
‘It sure has,’ Abdul replied. ‘My first year as an eagle, I doubled my income from the previous year. This year I’ll probably quadruple it. My customers call me for appointments on my cell phone or leave a message on it.’
Abdul made a different choice. He decided to stop quacking like a duck and start soaring like an eagle.
Start becoming an eagle today … one small step every week..next week… And next…And….
A great Thought..

“You don’t die if you fall in water, you die only if you don’t swim.
Thats the Real Meaning of Life.Improve yourself and your skills in a different way.
Be an eagle. .not a Duck.

Leading others into sin

Leading others into sin
Amos 2: 10.  I brought you up from the land of Egypt;I led you through the wilderness for forty years so you could take the Amorites’ land as your own.
11.I made some of your sons prophets and some of your young men Nazirites. Is this not true, you Israelites?” The Lord is speaking!

12.“But you made the Nazirites drink wine;you commanded the prophets, ‘Do not prophesy!

The Lord was angry because He has ordained some people as Nazarene,  but these chosen people had been made to violate the rules pertaining to living as a Nazarene.
Nazarenes were not supposed to drink wine, but their leaders made them take wine, hence making them break the covenant between them and God.
Now lets discuss the practical side of this issue.
Most of us as leaders,  school fathers and school mothers, or friends make our friends or subordinates break certain rules and principles of their lives.
Some people’s first drink, smoke or first sex was as a result of the influence of the people they trust.
Some of us offer bad advice to the people who trust us with their issues.
These rookies may not have any vow with God, but we must make sure, we don’t influence anyone into falling short of God’s rules.
The reason why we need to be careful is that,  God will judge those of us who lead others into breaking the laws of God
It must not be from you.

Due to the continues increase in the membership of International God’s Way Church (IGWC), the kumasi branch of IGWC has been extended to have the over thousand members of the church at Kenyasi Bosore in the Ashanti Region.

Despite attempts by detractors to tarnish the image of the church through the General Overseer,  the church seems to be growing from grace to grace.

Before this massive extension, some of the congregants  use to worship under a tent immediately outside the church auditorium.

IGWC has branches across the country and outside Ghana. Prominent among the branches of the church includes.  Kumasi Kenyasi Bosore, Tema, Takoradi and Accra, Ashaley Botwe branch.

The extension work is still ongoing but the congregation have started using it.
